First,: it was a ■ great blunder on the part of the officials to allow those without seats on tothe grass in the middle of the enclosure. Despite the constant requests of the announcer, the mob spirit , ~B*&vailed, and the repeated "kindly , * J «*down please" was utterly ignored. ..Those people just abused the privilege «»wed them, and obstinately blocked «e view of those in the stadium. It «t showed an inconsiderate attitude towards others, and a betrayal of meanness and selfishness; Throughwit the whole evening, no police were Placed in charge on the ground, and jjea the two requests of Mr Putt «assman were futile.
