DANCES ARRANGED

The weekly cabaret will be held at the Winter Garden on Saturday evening, and the Bailey-Marston orchestra will provide dance music. Patrons are advised to reserve alcoves for the New Year’s Eve carnival. Old and new dances will be included on the programme at the dance to be held this evening at the Caledonian Hall, under the auspices of the Caledonian Select Assembly. The attrac-

tions offered include lour cash miniature Monte Carlos, and a lucky spot dance. Bradford Brothers’ augmented orchestra will provide the dance music. The opening night of a series of Christmas old-time dances will be held this Saturday evening at the Alexandra Hall, Jackson’s Band of five players will supply this music, and the spacious ballroom provides plenty of room for comfortable summer dancing. Four prizes will be given for Monte Carlo dances. Another Yuletide Monte heat for two Christmas hampers and four hams will

be decided. The last heat of the Caa» terbury-West Coast waltz champio#* ship will be held.
