Faloon. , CANTERBURY LICENSED TRADE CLUB The Canterbury licensed Trade Golf Club held its opening day on the Avondale links yesterday. A stroke handicap, for a trophy presented by the president, Mr Alf. Barrett, was won by P. Curtis with a net score of 70. Curtis also won a trophy for the best net score among players with a handicap under 24. A trophy for the best net score among players of more than 24 handicap was won by J. McKenzie, of Tat Tapu.
