LARGEST FOREST IN HOLY LAND
JUBILEE TRIBUTE OF EMPIRE JEWS CEREMONY AT NAZARETH (Received December 4, 8.20 p.m.) JERUSALEM, December 3. The George V. Jubilee Forest, consisting of 500,000 trees, to which Australia has given a selection of its native trees, will be inaugurated on a hillside outside Nazareth on December 19. It will be the jubilee tribute of Jews throughout the Empire. . The High Commissioner, General Sir Arthur Wauchope, will participate in the ceremony, and will plant a seven-foot cyprus from the Royal Park at Windsor. The Zionist leader, Mr Ussishltin, will address the gathering in Hebrew, his speech being broadcast throughout the Empire. It will be the largest forest in the Holy Land.
