The Marylebone Cricket Club team beat Queensland by an innings and 106 runs. Christy made a dour fight, io avoid an innings defeat,' but except i for O'Connor, the tail gave him little help and the Marylebone team had the best win of its tour. There is no doubt that the English-1 men are an improving side, and the matches here have been good practice, the New Zealand tour. Baxter in this match proved himself a .class bowler who . will probably cojne here again.
