AUSTRALIAN SKI ERS
| TEAM FOR NEXT YEAR'S N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS For the first time since ski-ing has become an organised sport in New Zealand an Australian team will compete at the New Zealand championships next year, when the championship meeting will be held at Euapehu. Mr T. W. Mitchell, the Victorian champion ski-er, who is at present visiting New Zealand, has announced that he intends bringing over a team of Australian sld-ers —both men and women to compete at next year's championships. During the week-end Mr Mitchell was the guest of the Christchurch Ski Club, and was one of a party that enjoyed excellent ski-ing on the upper Blimit basin at Arthur's Pass. Mr Mitchell is visiting New Zealand on his wedding tour, and has already been to. the Hermitage. He is at present at the Franz Josef Glacier.
