MEMBER FOR NELSON
+ toR ATMORE NOT A DEMOCRAT
Mr H. Atmore, the successful candidate for the Nelson seat in the general election, was described in lists of the new House as a Democrat. He has now sent the following message to "The Press":— "I had no connexion with the Democrat party, and announced myself ,as an independent LiberalLabour candidate of the Seddon-Ballance-Ward-McKenzie school, with monetary reform as my principal plank."
