CHRISTCHURCH DEFENCE CLUB The Christchurch Defence Rifle Club fired the first long range competition of the championship series, at Tai Tapu recently. The weather was excellent, but a changeable breeze had to be carefully watched. A. Brunine, the winner, with his handicap, totalled the possible of 100 points. CULVERDEN DEFENCE CLUB The weekly half-day shoot of the Culverden Defence Bine Club was held recently. There waa a slight east wind, and a tricky light. Mr B. A.
