FUNERAL
♦ MR GEORGE WATSON The funeral of Mr George Watson, who died last week, was held on Saturday at the Bromley cemetery. Representatives of commercial travellers' associations, the Returned Soldiers' Association, and of many business firms were present, as well as many friends. The long line of cars which took part in the procession was evidence ■of Mr Watson's wide circle of acquaintances, both in business and private life, who held him in high esteem. The services at the house and the graveside were conducted by the Rev. A. C. Watson. The pall-bearers at the house were Messrs G. E. King (president, Commercial Travellers' Association), G. H. Christie (past president), H. H. Wauchop (United Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association), H. Fleck, S. Myers, and E. P. Willcox (representatives of the Returned Soldiers' Association). Those at the graveside were Messrs J. Anderson, G. A'Court, B. Stafford, N. McGillivray, J. Marshall, and J. C. Hewertson. The chief mourners were Mr and Mrs S. Minn (Dunedin), Nurse Gold, Miss E.
