It is a simple undeniable truth that this Government in the darkest period of recent economic history, carried out the greatest internal re-organisation ever attempted in this Dominion, built the facilities for a forward movement and to-day can safely move with the people in a parallel programme of Public Works and Private Business Expansion. Compare its record fairly and honestly with the record of any other Government in the world fighting the same fight. Be British—be fair—be just—and then judge, for its record judged on this fair basis stands out as a record of achievement.
