♦ j COUPEE SHELTER FROM RAIN! IN GAS-FILLED HOUSE j I SYDNEY. November 14. ! Caught in a shower of rain, a man and a woman ran into an empty house in the suburb of Chippendale, to shelter. The gas had been turned on by children who had been playing in the house, and before the couple knew their danger, they were overcome. Eric West, aged 39, is dead, and Margaret Crofts, aged 22, is not expected to live.
