MADAME ELSA STRALIA BRIDEGROOM FROM NEW ZEALAND (Received November 15, 1.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 14. The well-known soprano, Madame Elsa Stralia, whose maiden name was Elsie Fischer, of Adelaide, was married to-night at St. Stephen's Church, Sydney, to Mr Adolph T. Christensen, of Patea, New Zealand. Miss Ruth Mann was bridesmaid, Mrs Hugo Fischer, of Melbourne, was matron of honour, and Mr Hugo Fischer, the bride's brother, gave the bride away. Mr J. Crawford, of Patea. Mr Alan White, and Mr Ernest Lashmar were groomsmen. Mr Christensen met Madame Elsa Stralia recent!}', after a concert at Patea, where he is chairman of the Harbour Board. Madame Elsa Stralia has retired from the concert platform, and since her engagement to Mr Christensen, has sung anly for charity. Her future home will be in Patea.
