Letters to The Editor

Correspondents who do not comply with our Jiules set out in the last column of our leader Page will excuse us from noticing their letters.

Ignorant. —Full information about patenting an article can be obtained from the Commissioner of Patents, Wellincton. Articles are registered at the Patent Office, Wellington. The cost varies according to the protection desired. If a person files the application himself in tire Patent Office it would cost £3 for protection in New Zealand. If the work is done by an aacnt it naturally costs more; but the commissioner usually refers an applicant to an agent, it is stated, as the work is of an awkward nature.
