EIGHTY DROWNED WHEN SHIP SINKS
* BRITISH STEAMER SAVES 100 PASSENGERS CONSTANTINOPLE, Nov. 12. The steamer Inebolu foundered when entering Smyrna harbour. Eighty passengers were drowned. A violent hurricane struck the Inebolu at midnight. The British cargo steamer Polo rushed to her assistance and managed to take of 100 passengers in the pitch darkness before the water reached the Inebolu's holds and sank her in a few minutes.
