♦ ALL BLACK TEAM FOR THURSDAY MANY ENTERTAINMENTS IN LONDON (UJITJID IBIS! AS3OCIATMIT—COPT»IGKT.) LONDON, November 6. At the wish of the manager (Mr V. R. Meredith) the programme of entertainment for the All Blacks while they are in London has been greatly reduced, but it is still big. Their itinerary includes visits to Eton College, Windsor Castle, three theatres, an inspection of the "Daily Mail" office, golf, and tennis. It is hoped that Page will play against Hampshire. He is not yet moving at his fastest, but he will try ou. his leg during the week. The teams for the match between the All Blacks and Oxford University at Oxford on November 7 are as follows: New Zealand Full-back—G. Gilbert. Three-quarters—N. Ball, C. J. Oliver, N. A. Mitchell. Five-eighths—T. H. C. Caughey, J. L. Griffiths. Half-back—B. S. Sadler. Forwards—A. Lambourn, W. E. Hadley, C. S. Pepper, S. Reid, R. M. McKenzie, H. F. McLean, F. H. Vorrath, A. Mahoney. Oxford Full-back—Stuart. Three-quarters—Watson, A. Obolensky, M. Walford, R. Harding. Halves —Rees-Jones, C. Grieve. Forwards —J. M. S. McShane (of Sydney), L. Brett, N. McGrath, J. Pienaar (South Africa), G. Read, G. Roos (South Africa), M. C. G. Cooper (New Zealand), G. Bloxarn, H. Davies. Cooper will captain the fifteen. SOMETHING IN RESERVE PRESS SUSPICIONS ABOUT TEAM LONDON, November 4. The "News-Chronicle" says that Mr Meredith's remark that the All Black* are doing "well enough" is somewhat cryptic, and adds: "Those who think that the All Blacks are riding for close finishes will interpret in their own fashion Mr Meredith's admission." The "News-Chronicle" believes tha: the All Blacks have not yet fully revealed their hand, because of the forthcoming international matches.
