NAVAL OFFICER'S FLIGHT TO CHARLEVILLE
LIEUTENANT KIDSTON CATCHES MAIL AEROPLANE (Received September 18/11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 18. Immediately after his arrival by the Wanganella from New Zealand to-day, Lieutenant H. R. A. Kidston, who wants to reach Singapore in time to join an aeroplane flying to the East, left in a specially chartered .aeroplane which caught the Imperial Airways mail aeroplane at Charleville at 1.30-p.m. It will arrive at Darwin to-morrow.
