w PRESENTATION OF HAYDN'S "CREATION" Haydn-s "Creation" is an ambitious work to be attempted by a country musical organisation, but those who heard the choir of the Malvern Musical Society singing at Sheffield on Sunday night were treated to a notable musical performance. Much of the success is due to the conductor of the society, Mr H. L. Spark. All the choruses were sung with true musical understanding and interpretation. The soloists, Miss Cecily Audibert (soprano), Mr Ernest Rogers (tenor), and Mr J. L. Tennent (bass), more than fulfilled expectations.
