TO BE HELD IN THE MARLBOROUGH COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING ROOM ON THURSDAY, THE 10th OCTOBER, 1935, AT 11 A.M. MESSRS WRIGHT, STEPHENSON AND CO., LTD., have been favoured with instructions from the Receiver for the Debenture Holders of Messrs Ward, Tylor, and Co., Ltd., Timber Merchants and Sawraillers, to offer by Public Auction on the date and place stated above, two Timber Mills together with the plant in connexion with their workings and with the reserves of Timber in the bush adjoining. Particulars are as under:— One Saw Mill in full working order, together with Plant and Equipment, situated in the Tinline Valley adjoining the Pelorus Bridge, approximately 45 miles from Blenheim and midway between Blenheim and Nelson, together with timber cutting rights under which it is estimated that upwards of 3,000,000 feet of milling timber is available, and it is also estimated that a further million feet in adjoining areas can be obtained. No. 2 Mill, stiuated in the Pelorus Valley (adjoining Canvastown), approximately 35 miles from Blenheim. 45 miles from Nelson. This Mill has been idle for a period of nearly 5 years, but can be put into working order again in a very short time, and with very little expense. The surrounding bush is of excellent quality, and it is estimated that 1,500,000 feet of milling timber is available and easily acci.ijs ; ble.
