SYDENHAM PUBLIC LIBRARY
The monthly meeting of the commit* tee of the Sydenham Public Library was held recenUy. The president, Mr T. Kirton, presided. Accounts amounting to £SB were passed for payment. It was resolved that £35 be passed to purchase new books. The sports committee reported holding a progressive euchre party, the function having been well attended. It was decided that the rules of the library be revised. A sub-committee, comprising Messrs J. Skelton, J. Reid, E. Langley, and C. Pollard, the secretary and president, was set up to investigate the matter.
