Fifty men will be engaged from the West Coast for full-time contract; work on standard rates of pay, preference to be given to unemployed married men. This number will be supplemented by the draft of 100 from Christchurch. The Christchurch men are. how being offered the work at the unemployment bureau, the selection f being made either from single men on sustenance or men on No. 5 scheme work.
