MUSEUM ELEPHANT WITH A JHSTORY.—A start was made yesterday with the annual cleaning of the exhibits at the, Canterbury Museum. The building will remain closed until September 30. This elephant was one of two killed and eaten by hungry Parisians during the siege of Paris in 1870.
