MOUNT COOK AND QUEENSTOWN In addition to the usual arrangeJments for holiday-makers at Mount Cook and Qtieeristown in late 1 spring and summer, the Mount Cook Tourist Company has prepared a very attractive programme of land cruises, which will begin on November L Parties (a minimum of four passengers) are taken In private cars to the Hermitage and the southern lakes. Two of these motor cruises (from Timaru and Dunedin) are for periods of 10 days each at a total cost of £ls, including first-class hotel accommodation, side-trips, etc. This free-and-easy way of taking a holiday has proved very popular in older countries. It premises to be similarly attractive in the scenic regions of New Zealand, where every day's travel can have its own distinctive charm.
