DEATH OF A BOY
MOTORIST CHARGED AT DUNEDIN •: i-:i'.r..-5 Mj'iO(;iA.Tlo» Ti:r,KCJ;.'i:i.,i DUNEDIN, July 23. At a sitting" of the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr Justice Kennedy, Edward Richard Quin was charged with, while in a state of intoxication, being in charge of a motor-car, and that by an act or omission in relation thereto he caused the t cath of u boy, Ronald Stuart Erridgo. He was chaiged, alternatively, with negligently driving a car, thereby causing the death of Erridge. The hearing of the evidence of medical witnesses was comnfenced to-day. It is expected that the case Will extend over three days.
