NATIONAL OPINION
The current number of the "Nem" Zealand National Review," the official paper of the Manufacturers' Federation, contains full and interesting summaries of international events and short notes on current topics. The editorial article deals wife taxation in New Zealand, pointing to the rise in taxation over the lest year and urging reduction and reform, and an article written by the secretary of the federation, Mr A. E. Mander/exposes the wilful manner in which import!u s a n d countrified politicians distort ' the official figures regarding our trad« with Great Britain." There is an article ■ entitled "History's Greatest Er . a >. by Hannen Swaffer, and a reprinted address on economic planning by Dr. W. B. Sutch.
