♦ ■ MORE THAN 100 DEATHS CHILDREN SEIZED FROM , HOUSES i (Received June 28, 11.55 p.m.) CALCUTTA, June 28. More than 100 persons have been killed by tigers which are terrorising villages near Berhampur, in the province of Orissa. The tigers daringly enter houses in daylight and seize sleeping children. They carry off labourers in the fields, and kill women when they are drawing water from the wells. The peasants are panic-stricken. There is a reward of £ls for each tiger killed.
