ROBOT AEROPLANE
PUBLIC FLIGHT MADE (;:uiTisii officiat, wrßEi.r.'is.) RUGBY, June 27. A wirelessly-controlled aeroplane, which is the first of its kind in the world, revealed its full capabilities in a public flight at Farnborough Aerodrome, Hampshire, yesterday. The robot aeroplane, which is known as the Queen Bee, proved responsive to every wireless command which the officer in charge of the control position passed on to it for nearly an hour. The machine, which is the result of 10 years' exDerimentind. has been developed by Royal Air Force technical experts at Farnborough.
