j HIGH SCHOOLS' MATCH CHWSTCHUIICH TO MEET TIMARU KIVALin OF FIFTY YEARS' STANDING With the match against Timaru Boys' High School at Lancaster Park to-dav. the Christchurch Boys' High School will have resumed annual matches with two out of the throe South 1:-land schools with which it engaged until last year in an annual tournament. Instituted in 1915. the tournament between the first lit'teens of the Christchurch, Timaru, Otago, and Southland Boys' High Schools was abandoned last year owing to a de-pue as to whether the Timaru and Invercargill schools should b:: allowed to mciude in their teams "terms" students who are studying for university degrees. The Timaru team arrived m Christchurch last evening, accompanied by Messrs A. Jackson and M. t'. Ledmghsrn, of the high school staff, the team's coaches. The irtaich will he piayed on tne Lancaster Park oval -as a curtain-raiser to the senior Rugby game, and will commence at. 1.15 p.m. The teams wiil be as follows; —
