G. Sullivan, M.P., at 150 High •'.roet, this aiternoon. Memlera c{ the club v cro kept busy all day yesterday arranging the exhibits and tha judging in the dog, cookery, art needlework, and children's sections was completed. The entries totalled approximate! , 360, a* against 388 la»t year. The dog section, in whi.h there were 25 entries, was, of courae, the most important, and was well up to the standard of previous shows, the dOjfl all being in splendid condition. Tho art needlework section drew some fine ent'ies, am ■ ompetition was -ery keen. The championship cup for tho highest aggregate po nts iu needlework »aa won by Mis E. J. Thomson, and Mrs Mah»n was awarded tha chair lor the wcond lushest aggregate. Brenda.
