BIRTHDAY SOCIAL

A successful social and dance was held at the Hotel Savoy in honour oi the birthday anniversary of Mr A. V. Dodd. The dance hall was gaily decorated for the occasion, and the supper tables were bright with pink and white flowers. During the evening, Mr Gallagher gave an item, and demonstration dances were given by Misses Rita Brooker, Joyce Fraser, Daphne Fowler, and Marjorie Fraser. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss Ray Marks and Mr H. Marks, and a lucky spot dance by Miss Leah Draper and Mr R. Jenkins. The Excelsior orchestra supplied the music.
