PROGRESS OF WINTER SHOW ORGANISATION The Canterbury Manufacturer;,' Association met last evening. Mr C. H. Bnrson presidio/.,'. Discussion of u report on unemployment among youths (printed elsewhere) formed the main business in open meeting. For the winter show committee, Mr H. B. Duckworth reported that it apoeared that within a week all the space for the show would be taken up. The entertainment committee was investigating possibilities of a band outsiae the building on Saturday nights an orchestra inside, mannequin parade?:; and other attractions. An attractive entrance had been planned by the building committee. Posters had been prepared, and other nv ans of publicity were being devised. The front of the building would be painted to harmonise with Dalyety and Company's concrete building.
