Kurner. •• at Miramar and stealing tinned e.oocis, cigarettes, tobacco, arid about ill in cash. The Mirjimar charges relate to a case in which the shopkeeper, hi; v.-ii-. and a neighbour attacked Hie intruders. A lively battle with a i,mh hawk and batons ensued, and the thieves escaped in a car after beating off (heir assailants. More than 12 witness *s wen; examined. and many exhibits including beer and brandy bottles full and empty, sugarbags containim 1 , loo!, and fingerprint photographs were produced. The accused reserved Ibeir defence, and were committed for triai.
