The Mayor, Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P., yesterday made an appeal for a stretcher to assist a family in distress. The husband is seriously ill and is a returned soldier; there are six children, one of whom is in bed wiflh pneumonia. Mr Sullivan said that tiae need was urgent.
