GOOD TEMPLARS

SUMNER PRIDE JUVENILE LODGE Acting-Chief Templar Sister L. Ford presided over the regular of the Sumner Pride Lodge of Juvenile Good Templars. Bros. L. Clarke and W. Sexton wr-re in charge. It was reported that Bro. J. Erickson was on the sick list. One new member was elected. Bro. Ford reported on his visit to Ashburton. There has been no meeting of the juveniles as most of the members had been taking part in the competitions. He had had the pleasure of attending Mayfield where the Band of Hope was under the direction of Mrs Edmonds of the Women's Christian Temperance Union. A very successful concert was given by the members, and the visitors were entertained at the conclusion of the concert. He, with "-0. E. Wislang. had cycled to Ashi,„ in, and had thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The programme for the evening Included games, which v/ere conducted by the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Junior Works.
