PRESBYTERIAN ELDERS AND MINISTERS

RETREAT AT ST. ANDREW'S COLLEGE Eighteen ministers and elders of the Presbyterian Church assembled yesterday evening at St. Andrew's College for the retreat decided on some months ago by the Presbytery. After the evening meal a service was conducted by the Rev. G. W. T. Hereus, Moderator of the Christehurch Presbyteiy. A paper on "New Developments in New Testament Study" was read by the Rev. L. M. Rogers, M.A., a discussion following. To'-dav the devotional service will be conducted by Mr Hercus instead of by the Rev. R. R. Adair, who has been prevented from attending. A paper 011 "The Nature of Revelation" will be read by the Rev. Theo Paterson. In the evening a discussion 011 the future of the Presbyterian Church in New Zealand will be introduced by the Rev. T. W. Armour and the Rev. Alan Watson. The retreat will come to I an end to-morrow morning.
