CAPPING WEEK
STUDENTS' PROCESSION TO-DAY
This rnorniny;. from until 11 o'clock. Canterbury College students will attempt to entertain the citizens of Chri'-lelmrch with the traditional procession, which open-; capping and revue week. The procession will leave Onf.erbiir.v Co)l*.;:;e at 9..10 o'clock. along Worcester street to Cathe-dr.-l so iin re. Thence it will travel <-|<,wn High street to Manchester street, reaching the United Service Hotel by way of Armagh and Colombo streets. From the hotel balcony the cisml speeches will be made. The outsnnding events of history, recent and remote will be portrayed in the procession. Picturesque vehicles will represent sucla recent events as the Royal wedding. The Mortgage Corporation will be n leading subject for the students' wit: New Zealand will be rediscovered.- The students have prepared a host of these extracts from Ivstrry to make this year's procession o worthy successor to those of past yec.rs, , . . '
