.At a meeting of the Matamata branch of the Farmers' Union, Mr C. Pond said that many farmers did not get full advantage for their wireless fees. There was a 7 o'clock breakfaEt session, but that was of no use to farmers, and he suggested that the Broadcasting Board should be approached to arrange for one station in each island to be kept in action from 8.30 till 10 a.m. every day. Mr F. C. Bush mentioned that many farmers' wivep who were busy with breakfast and getting the children away to school would appreciate an extension to 10 a.m. A motion on these lines was approved.
