VISIT BY MINISTER FOR EDUCATION The Minister for Education, the Hon. S. G. Smith, paid a visit to the Christ- \ church Technical College last evening, i where he inspected the work of the i evening classes. The Minister ex.- j pressed great appreciation of the keen- j ness of the pupils. "I am pleased to see so many young people, who are employed during the day, showing such | enthusiasm to better their position i by studying at night." he said. j The visit was intended as a prelim- i inary to that which will be paid to-' day.
