In the sun the maximum temperature was 127 degrees, the maximum in the shade being 71 degrees. There was a frost of 6 points. On Saturday there was no frost, the minimum temperature being 34 degrees. The, maximum in the sun was 124 ; degrees and the maximum in the j shade 61 degrees. To date this year , 3.03 inches of rain have been re- j : corded at the Magnetic Observatory, I« compared with 0.75 last year.
