UNEMPLOYED PROTEST SKILLED LABOUR AS SUSTENANCE WORK MELBOURNE, March 21. After the announcement of the Ministry's decision that skilled labour should be performed as sustenance work 400 men engaged on Government works in various parts of Melbourne ceased work to-day. Many of the 12,000 sustenance workers in the metropolitan area decided to leave work at the week-end.
