The Post Office this year will issue six special silver jubilee stamps bearing portraits of various members of the Royal Family, Windsor Castle, and the Royal yacht Britannia. STATUETTE OF PRINCE COPIES MAY BE GIVEN TO DOMINIONS (Received March 15, 11 p.m.) LONDON, March 15. A distinguished gathering at the house of Freda, Lady Forres, viewed a statuette of the Prince of Wales made by the late Charles Jagger. It is an unconventional portrait, and is the property of the Queen. It shows the Prince in tennis costume. A limited number of copies will be cast, and it is hoped to present one to each of the Dominions as a souvenir of the King's Silver Jubilee.

NEW SOUTH WALES PREPARATIONS AN EXTRA RACE MEETING (Received March 15, 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 15. Part of the King's Silver Jubilee celebrations in Sydney on May 6 will be an extra race meeting at Randwick under the auspices of the Australian Jockey Club. The principal race will be the Jubilee Cup of a mile and a half, which will carry a stake of £ 1750, the conditions to be similar to those for the King's Cup. The remainder of the programme will be equally attractive.

(GOVERNMENT GRANT THANKSGIVING service to HE HELD (Received March 16, 2 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 15. The Government has ' granted £2OOO for expenditure by the organising committee which is controlling the King's Jubilee celebrations, a feature of which is to be a thanksgiving service at Centennial Park. The Government to-day proclaimed May 6 a public holiday for New South Wales.
