The death has occurred at the Waikato Hospital of Vivian Donovan, a farm hand, aged 21, of Waihou, who received severe head injuries on Wednesday night when the bicycle he was riding collided with another bicycle on the Te Aroha-Waihou road. FALL ON ROOF OF HOUSE Sydney Perkins, a carpenter, aged 22 years, of Heathcote, suffered a deep wound in a leg yesterday afternoon when he slipped while working on the roof of a house in Opawa. His leg was cut by the edge of a sheet of currugated iron. He was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where an operation was performed.
