LINWOOD AVENUE SCHOOL

CARNIVAL TO OPEN TO-NIGHT A carnival featuring several novel events will be opened at the Lin wood Avenue School at 6 o'clock to-night in aid of the school funds and \vill be continued to-morrow afternoon and evening. The official opening, ceremony will be performed by the Mayor, Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.. at 2.30 tomorrow afternoon. Folk and maypole dancing, and displays of drill will be given by the scholars, and there will also be fancy dress and decorated vehicle parades, a baby show, and various competitions.
