CHRISTCHURCH YESTERDAY'S TRANSACTIONS Markets continued firm on call yesterday and there was a moderate turnover, with the bulk of the dealings in industrials. The market for shipping company shares was bare. Transactions, exclusive of vestibule business, were:—

New Zealand Insurances moved up to 68s 3d, closing quotations 3d on either side. National Mortgage "B" were dealt in at 31s 3d.
