* INJURY TO LE(i W. G. Everett, a married man who lives at 62 Chrystall street, North Richmond, received injuries to his left leg yesterday morning when he tripped and fell over a strand of wire while walking on. a bank of the Waimakariri river. He was treated as an outpatient at the Christchurch Public Hospital. RELIEF WORKER HURT W. Heaton, a relief worker, who lives at 56 Ollivier's road, received injuries to his thigh while working on the Cashmere Hills near the Sign of the Kiwi yesterday. He was brought in to the Christchurch Hospital by the St. John Free Ambulance. After receiving treatment in the outpatients' department he was taken to his home. POLICE OFFICER INJURED (rRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, March 13. About 10.15 to-night, Senior-Ser-geant S. J. Martin, of the Wellington South police station, was knocked down by a motor-car while riding a motor-cycle. He was taken to hospital. His injuries are not serious.
