RETURNED SOLDIERS' ASSOCIATION

* NOMINATIONS FOR EXECUTIVE Six candidates were nominated to contest seats on the executive of the Returned Soldiers' Association, and the names of six others to be nominated by suburban sub-committees, were endorsed at a meeting of members of the association, which was held in the Trades Hall last evening. The meeting was in committee, but it was stated afterward that a further meeting would be held in a few days, when the policy to be followed by the candidates endorsed would be decided and a choice made as to who should be supported in the election for the presidency of the association.
