FISHING LAUNCH FOUNDERS

CREW REPORTED TO BE SAFE (TRESS ASSOCIATION VKLEORAM.) WELLINGTON, March t. The Director-General of the Post and Telegraph Department has received the following advice from the Chatham Islands -adio station:--"The launch Defiance foundered this morning while taking a tow rope aboard from the trawler South Sea near J itt Island. The crew are safe. The launch is water-logged, bearing two miles north of Rabbit Island. It is dangerous to navigation."
