LORD SEMPILL SAFE LORD SEMPILL SAFE
FORCED LANDING IN DARKNESS (Received February 20, 7 p.m.) BATAVIA, 'February 20. Lord Sempill has arrived at Banjuwangi by motor-bus. He states that he made a forced landing in the darkness and walked for hours through the jungle, after which he was picked up by a motorbus. Lord Sempill intends to return to the landing place with fuel supplies and to continue the flight if possible.
