Judgment was given by Mr H. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday, in an action in which Clyde Loveday and William Rainbow, both of Christchurch, labourers (Mr R. Twyneham), claimed £l6 Is 8d from Wilfred S. Price, of Papanui, firewood contractor (Mr A. B. Hobbs), as the balance due on a contract to cut firewood. The plaintiffs were awarded £9 2s 2d (including £4 18s paid into court) with costs.
