SMALL INCREASE IN WAGES IfttESS /LSSOCIATION TBUSCiKAiI- 1 WELLINGTON, A small increase in the minimum rate of wages, though the amount is not stated, was agreed to at the adjourned conciliation proceedings today, when the various union? of workers engaged in the painting industry discussed a Dominion award with the employers. All the clauses in dispute were agreed upon. The general provisions remain as in the present award.
