YOUNG MAN KILLED IN GLIDER CRASH
BRISBANE, February 18. Robert Harris, aged 22, was killed when his glider crashed from a height of 150 feet at Saltpan Aerodrome, Cairns. The glider, which was homemade, failed to come out of a dive, and struck the ground with terrific force, being embedded to a depth of two feet.
